Graduate Program Board – Ecology, Conservation and Biodiversity (UFU)

The Board is the academic body responsible for guiding, supervising, and coordinating the Program's activities. It is composed of:

  1. The Program Coordinator, serving as Chair;

  2. Four faculty representatives, elected by their peers;

  3. One student representative, elected by their peers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Enforce UFU’s graduate regulations and this Program’s internal rules;

  • Define and approve the annual number of available positions and the maximum number of students per advisor;

  • Prepare and approve the selection notice, ensuring publication in the Official Federal Gazette at least 15 days before applications open;

  • Approve faculty members for the selection committee;

  • Organize and approve the list of instructors for each course annually.
