Who is this program for: The Master's degree program in Ecology, Conservation, and Biodiversity at UFU is designed for graduates from biology, ecology, environmental sciences, forestry, agronomy, geography, and related fields. It is ideal for professionals seeking to deepen their academic and research expertise in ecological and environmental sciences, and for those aiming to work in research, teaching, environmental consultancy, conservation organizations, or public policy and natural resource management. The program focuses on developing advanced knowledge in ecological theory, biodiversity assessment, conservation strategies, and sustainable management of natural ecosystems.
Applications follow the process described in a document named “Edital” (Call for Applications), which is available in https://ppgeco.inbio.ufu.br/en/servicos/admission-process. The Selection Process is annual and usually takes place in the last half of the year, with admissions in the following year.
Selection process: The PPGECB Admission Process takes place in the last half of every year as established in specific Calls (named “Editais”) published in Portuguese version of the website. The process is carried out by UFU’s Admission Process Board (DIRPS).
